Privacy policy

This policy covers mobbrains.com. It is deliberately short, because this site does very little with your data.

Who we are

Mob Brains is a software and product studio. For anything in this policy, contact us at hello@mobbrains.com.

What we collect

• What you send us. If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, company and message you type, plus the budget range you pick. We use it to reply to you and nothing else.
• Analytics, only if you agree. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which parts of the site are useful. The Google Analytics script is not loaded at all until you press Accept, so if you decline, or simply ignore the banner, your browser never contacts Google and no analytics cookies are set.

We do not sell your data, we do not run advertising or advertising cookies, and we do not build profiles of visitors.

Cookies and local storage

• Your consent choiceis stored in your browser's local storage so we don't ask on every page. It never leaves your device.
• Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) are set only after you accept. They expire after two years, or sooner if you clear them.

To change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser settings and the banner will reappear.

Who else processes your data

• Web3Forms delivers contact form submissions to our inbox.
• Google Analytics, only with your consent, as described above.
• Amazon Web Services hosts the site. Their infrastructure logs standard request data such as IP address for security and delivery.

How long we keep things

Contact enquiries stay in our email for as long as the conversation is useful, and are deleted on request. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics retention setting, and in any case we only ever see it in aggregate.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or object to how we use it. Email hello@mobbrains.comand we'll deal with it. There is no form to fill in.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we'll update the date at the top of this page.
